Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using KibblKibbl (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply worldwide to all users regardless of location.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use KibblKibbl (16 in jurisdictions where GDPR applies to minors). By using the Service, you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
  • You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their explicit consent.
  • You may not transfer your account to another person.
  • Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. User content

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting content on KibblKibbl, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, distribute, and reproduce that content for the purpose of operating the Service, including for moderation, safety review, backups, legal compliance, and to the extent technically necessary to display content already shared with other users before deletion. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the retention circumstances described in our Privacy Policy.

You are solely responsible for the content you post and represent that you have all necessary rights to share it and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Post content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or fraudulent.
  • Post fake or misleading pet listings, rescue posts, adoption ads, or veterinary or business profiles.
  • Sell, trade, traffic, transport, breed, abuse, or facilitate the exploitation of animals in violation of any applicable law, including animal welfare, anti-cruelty, import/export, quarantine, licensing, and anti-trafficking laws.
  • List prohibited species, dangerous animals, or animals obtained illegally.
  • Use the platform for commercial advertising or solicitation without our prior written consent.
  • Impersonate any person, organisation, veterinary practice, rescue group, or government authority.
  • Solicit or accept donations or payments through misleading, fraudulent, or unverified campaigns.
  • Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the platform or its APIs.
  • Upload malware, viruses, or any malicious code.
  • Circumvent security measures, rate limits, or access controls.
  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

6. Adoption, animal welfare, and offline interactions

KibblKibbl is a platform that connects people. We are not a shelter, rescue organisation, veterinary service, broker, transporter, escrow holder, or a party to any arrangement between users.

  • We do not verify the accuracy of pet listings, the welfare of animals listed, the identity or credentials of users, or the suitability of any adopter or home.
  • You are responsible for complying with all local animal welfare, licensing, vaccination, microchipping, quarantine, import/export, and adoption/transfer laws that apply to any transaction or arrangement you make through the platform.
  • You use the platform to connect with other users. Any adoption, fostering arrangement, service booking, or in-person meeting is between you and the other party. KibblKibbl is not responsible for the outcome, including fraud, injury, loss, or the welfare of any animal.
  • You assume the risks associated with meeting strangers, handling animals, and entering into agreements with other users. We strongly encourage in-person verification, thorough due diligence, and safe meeting practices before any adoption or arrangement.

7. Emergency and medical disclaimer

KibblKibbl is not an emergency service. If an animal or person is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services, animal control authorities, or emergency veterinary services directly.

  • Blood donor listings, vaccination records, medical histories, and expense records on the platform are informational and user-submitted. They are not veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.
  • We do not verify donor compatibility, health status, availability, or suitability for any specific animal or medical situation.
  • Always consult a licensed veterinarian for your animal’s specific health and medical needs. Use of any information found on this platform for medical decisions is at your own risk.

8. Veterinary and medical information

Information shared on KibblKibbl, including from registered veterinarians or pet care providers, is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for your pet’s specific health needs.

9. Donations and external payments

Some users may share links or information about donation campaigns for rescue animals, shelters, or related causes.

  • KibblKibbl does not process, verify, escrow, receipt, guarantee, track, refund, or mediate any donation or payment.
  • Donation links are external and user-provided. We have no control over third-party payment processors, fundraising platforms, or how collected funds are used.
  • You are solely responsible for your own due diligence before donating to any campaign found through our platform.
  • KibblKibbl is not responsible for fraud, failed payments, chargebacks, misuse of funds, or any claims made in connection with external fundraising campaigns shared on our platform.

10. External links and third-party services

The platform may display or link to external websites, adoption forms, donation pages, maps, social media profiles, and other third-party services. These links are provided for convenience and are not an endorsement or verification of the linked content. KibblKibbl is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, availability, accuracy, or security of any third-party website or service. When you leave KibblKibbl, you do so at your own risk and under the terms of the third-party service.

11. Business, provider, and professional listings

KibblKibbl allows users to create profiles for veterinary clinics, pet stores, boarding facilities, pharmacies, rescue organisations, groomers, freelance pet care providers, and other businesses and services.

  • Listings may be user-submitted and are not independently verified by KibblKibbl. Appearing on the platform is not an endorsement, certification, or guarantee of any kind.
  • You are responsible for independently verifying the licences, credentials, insurance, pricing, availability, and suitability of any business or professional you engage with through the platform.
  • Business owners are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their listings and complying with all applicable professional licensing and regulatory requirements in their jurisdiction.

12. App store and platform terms

If you access KibblKibbl through the Apple App Store, your use is also governed by Apple’s App Store Terms of Service. If you access KibblKibbl through Google Play, your use is also governed by Google Play’s Terms of Service. Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for KibblKibbl or its content, except to the extent required by applicable app store rules. In case of conflict between these Terms and the app store terms, these Terms govern your relationship with KibblKibbl.

13. Content moderation

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or our community standards, at our sole discretion and without notice. We are not obligated to monitor all content but will act on valid reports. We are not liable for any failure to act on reported content.

14. Intellectual property

The KibblKibbl name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. You may not use them without our express written permission. Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence to use our intellectual property.

15. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of user-submitted content, or uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties.

You acknowledge that interactions with other users — including in-person meetings, adoptions, fostering arrangements, animal transport, service bookings, and any exchange of animals, funds, or documents — carry inherent risks. You assume those risks voluntarily. KibblKibbl facilitates connections but is not a party to, guarantor of, or responsible for any outcome of those interactions.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KibblKibbl and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, or from any content, conduct, or interactions on or through the platform. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of USD $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain types of damages. In such cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law, and your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KibblKibbl, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your interactions with other users, your offline activities facilitated through the platform, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

18. Termination

You may delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections 4, 15, 16, 17, and 19 survive termination.

19. Governing law and disputes

KibblKibbl is operated as a private, independent platform available globally. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute informally at [email protected]. Regardless of where you access the Service, mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence continue to apply and are not excluded by these Terms. For users in the EU or UK, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

20. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
